Oracle Management Server

Hi, I’m running Oracle 8.1.7 on a Windows 2000 platform with SP3. I have trouble starting the OracleOraHome81ManagementServer service. Even with a startup Type of Automatic it still wouldn’t start. I get an error like this: “Could not start the OracleOraHome81ManagementServer service on local computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error”. Please what do I do ? Thanks for your help
