    Orientation of photos 2

    by Anonymous ·

    Hello Bob,
How nice to find you here as a moderator! Thank you for ytour rfeply to my quñestión.

I am entering this as a question because, for whatever reason, I am unable to answer your post in answer to my original question. The word ‘reply’ disappears when I hover my cursor over it to reply to your post!

I have followed all the answers shown at the link you provided but none seem to permit the photo I take to appear in portrait format.

The best results I get are to take the phoio with the phone turned sideways and then the result usually appears in portrait. Not very convenient!

Thanks for your reply, I wish you all the best.

    Kind regards,

    Colin.

I’m not Bob, hehe, but I have a question regarding your posting problems here at the forums! What browser are you using? Do you use an ad blocker? I ask because there are times when I have problems posting and I’m trying to track the bug down! At the moment, it appears to be related to ad blocking (I use uBlock Origin) and I have problems even if I disable uBlock. If I un-install the extension (using Palemoon and derivitives) then the issue goes away. So if you have something similar, let me know.

      Remember I did not find a for-sure-cure.

Time to try other camera apps.
