Oulook emails to:/cc: groups dont' show

A user in my company is having a stange problem. When sending emails to any groups from his computer, who ever receives such emails does not see the entries in the to:/cc: fields of the groups that the email was sent to. The receiver only sees the regular users that the email was sent to. Does anyone have any clue why this is happening and how to solve it?

If the group distribution list is placed on the BCC line, the recipient will not see it.

I am well aware of what you stated in your comment. Please read and see that my question was in regards the to:/cc: fields.

I'll take a stab at this and say it's possible the originating user is using custom distribution lists in his own Contact address book that aren't available to the recipients. Are these groups he's sending to firmwide? Are the emails going to people outside of the firm?
