Outlook 2002 is reporting out of memory or resources. I show over 200mb of my 512 ram still available. What's happening and what can i do to fix it?

Check for free hard drive space.

Windows NEVER uses all of the system RAM.

I suspect that you have enough messages that Outlook needs a lot of Virtual Memory to run.

You either need more free hard drive space, or to reduce the number of saved messages.

You did not say which version of Windows you are running.
There is a bug in the Windows 98 / Me code that can cause a number of problems with more than 511MB of RAM installed.

If you are running Windows 98 or Me, dropping back to 384MB of RAM may actually correct your low resources problem.

Check the size of the outlook.pst file,if it is at 1.8gb,you will need to compress it.
The file cannot grow beyond 1.8 gb.
An M$ gotcha'!

I had a similar problem on a pc. I couldn't even open Outlook. It would say," out of resources" which I new wasn't true. I beleive I went to the control panel add/remove and ran repair and it fixed it.
