    Outlook 2000

    Is there anyway of opening a 2.111GB PST file in outlook 2000 if not is it possible to upgrade to 2003 and then open the corrupt file?

      No version of outlook can handle PST files larger than 2GB. There are plenty of repair / manipulation tools available on the web, what you will need to do is chop up the file so it is an acceptable size.

      2gb is the limit. Here’s a link which provides a possible workaround (I have never tried it) and also includes an ms tool (which will truncate your pst file which means you will lose some info):

      Another option is to get something like Mail Navigator and export all the messages to an mbx file. Then you can decide what to do individually with each message. Here’s a link to Mail Nnavigator (the trial version works fine):
