Outlook 2000 – disappearing folders

Subfolders created under “Inbox” to keep read mail have disappeared without the user deleting them. I’ve had it happen to me before…

I’m at a loss to explain how this happens. Is this an Exchange issue? How do I find them and how do I keep this from happening?
