Outlook 2000 Duplicate Emails

I have a Winnt 4.0 workstation that receives
dupilcate email. The user had the Exchange
server service loaded and the internet-email
loaded in Services. I prevented the exchange
server service from being used as a service to
download email and the duplicates are still coming.
