Outlook 2000 Email Follow-Up Flags

I use “Follow Up Flags” on receiving e-mails to remind me to take action.

All is fine as long as the emails remain in my INBOX….and I receive reminders unmercifully until I turn them off!!

However after a couple of disasters (coupled with a poor memory) I realised that these reminders do NOT work if I move the emails into other folders. They are still there and look active, but dont do anything!!

What am I doing something wrong?
