Outlook 2000 not printing images

I have Outlook 2000 installed and It doesn’t print images that are embedded in the document. All I get when I print is empty space with and “x” in the spot like on bad linked webpages. On Microsoft’s site I found a article, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q287768, but I’m not going to install that security update for Outlook. Does anyone know a workaround that will fix this problem?
