Outlook 2000 question

By Naleen ·
Hi there,
Why when you're sending an email to more than one person and one of the emails is wrong the email sometimes then get stuck in the outbox and doesn't get send at all and sometimes the message is sent and then you get a mail delivery failure for the ones where the email addresses was wrong. It's just sometimes we have a list and then if just one emailaddress is wrong it doesn't want to send the email to the rest of the recipients either.
Hope someone can help. Many thanks.

May want to look at the following:
Tools - Options - Preference Tab - E-Mail Options - Advanced E-Mail Options Allow Comma and Automatic Name Checking. If you are using a list make sure it is seperated by ";".
Suggest to use 'groups' to send list mailings if you use the personal or global address book.
Suggest to use full email name with '@' rather than the address book name, if multiple similar names exist it will not be resolved, even to the first person in the book. Causes SO many headaches.
Good luck
