Outlook 2000 will not maximize

I am using Outlook 2000 with Windows 2000. Just recently when I minimize my Outlook window and then approx. 30 min. or later want to maximize Outlook, it won’t do anything. I get no messages or anything. The only thing I can do is close Outlook and reopen it in order to check my mail. Does anyone have a thought on this? Thanks Gene
