Outlook 20003:Create new appointment, Description missing?

I am having a user in the office that occasionally he is having trouble with having the description to stick.

He makes a new appointment, puts in the subject, location, time, and description and saves it. When he opens it up again, the subject, location and time are all there, but the description is missing.

Any ideas?
