Outlook 2000&Outlook express mismatch

By sekarsc ·
Situation:
a. I am sendig mail by Outlook 2000
b. recipient receives in Outlook Expresss

Problem:
Messages sent by me is received as 70 characters wide; when the recipient replies along with my mail, I see format of "my previous mail" very ugly, with sentences wrapped at odd places.

I would like to send and receive the mails with good formatting. One possible way is to set the formatting to 70 characters wide on Outlook 2000 itself; will it help ?(hard carriage returns makes things worse). can some one help?

If either end is using Exchange, It is will be that the Exchange IMS will be set to wrap the message text at 70 characters.

Thanks . I would need to compose (on Outlook) with 70 characters wide and then send it. Only then, I will be able to see that the mail is sent as per the format I want.
