Outlook 2002 and quick launch

Greetings-
I have a problem with Outlook 2002. When a new user logs onto a workstation and accesses their E-mail. Once the profile has been configured, Outlook adds a shortcut to the quick launch bar. I want to know; can that feature be turned off? If not, is there a registry key that will remove the Outlook shortcut from the quick launch for all users that log onto the workstation?
