Outlook 2002: missing attachment?

When I try to send an e-mail I cannot find a button that says “attachment”. I read somewhere that I may have the wrong send format? as in from “home”. I have been using insert and sendint pictures, but when I check the e-mail, by sending to myself,I can see the picture (jpg) but it will not print. The message will print but the picture will have the little red X. I am running Win XP home. Thanks
