outlook 2002 using word as email editor

My computer keeps giving an error “this form require word as an email editor…” whenever i want to compose a new message. It used to work properly until recently. I have tried editing the registry as directed by Microsoft,uninstalling and reinstalling office xp with frontpage but the error persists. Can anyone help.
