Outlook 2003 Delegates

By jhaggerty ·
We're new to Exchange and Outlook. In Lotus Notes we were able to send emails "on behalf of". For instance, if the President's secretary sent out an email for the president, it would show the presidents name, but would also show that it was sent by the secretary. Is there any way to do that in Outlook? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This would be better posted in Tech Q&A, but I will give you a Outlook's help, search Delegate access.

open the president's user account properties and go to the Exchange general tab and click on Delivery Option. Under Send on behalf, add in the secretary's name.

From the secretary's mailbox, create a new message, click the Options button under the menu bar and select From and you will immediately see the From field in your new message, just type in the president's name. That's it!!!
