I often receive emails from vendors where I can see messages in the autopreview (typically something like ‘if you cannot view this email in html on your system then click on this link …’)
However, that text is not shown in the reading pane nor when I open the email to read it. If I save the email to a file and examine its contents I still cannot see that text.
What is going on? This seems like a useful thing to be able to do when sending emails, but I have no idea how it might be done…
