Outlook 2003 Problem

By Super_IT_Mom ·
I have recently installed Outlook 2003 on some of my PC's (XP Pro and W2K). I am not able to send the same email at the same time to an internal address and to an external address. It bounces back. But, I can send it separately to each of them. I know this has to be a setting, but I do not know where it is. I hope someone can help me. Thanks!

Are the internal and external addresses the same DNS name?

How are you connecting to send the mail?

This could be a number of different issues and some more information would assist in getting to the bottom of it.

I truly believe this is an issue with Outlook 2003. All of my other machines are running Outlook 2000 with no problems. In fact, both of my Outlook 2003 machines are acting the same way. All the Outlook settings are the same as the 2000 machines (at least what I can tell). We have a direct connection to the internet. The only thing that has changed on this pc is the upgraded software.
