Outlook 2003 Time-Zone Oddity

By dfields ·
I have a user who is seeing internal calendar requests as the correct time. He is receiving a calendar request from an external source and the meeting request is an hour ahead. Supposedly his contact is having no issues with his calendar requests. My user's laptop is already updated with all the most current service packs and all that. Where could the problem be at?

Did this just start after the DST change? I had an issue kinda similar to this. I downloaded a patch from google called DaylightSavingFix.exe. It worked for me. Give it a shot.

It's more likely the sender needs to patch their system. It's probably still set to the old time zones and sending as if the time hasn't changed yet.

By the way, the time MS zone patch was pushed out in critical patches over a year ago. There's no need to download a foreign file. It can still be downloaded from the MS Office Updates.
