Outlook 2003 won’t send html message

Help please.
A client of mine has run into a problem in MS Office 2003. Outlook 2003 cannot send an html message correctly when Word is the email editor. When Outlook, not Word is the email editor it sends and dispays fine.

We have tried uninstall and reinstall. Tried applying all updates. Client wants to be able to use Word as editor for the spell checker function. Any advice would be appreciated.
