Outlook 2003 word attachments

We have just migrated to Office 2003. When i receive an email message with a Word attachment and double click to open the attachment, word opens it in reading view (yuk). How can i adjust it so that when i open a word attachment, it opens in Word 2003 without defaulting to reading view.
