Outlook 2007 Contacts

by snaxxy . Updated 18 years, 6 months ago

Hi,

I recently bought a new PC with Windows Vista. I used Easy Transfer to transfer all the stuff from my old PC (Windows XP SP2).

Now when I use Outlook 2007 on my Vista PC I can see all my contacts in the contacts area, however when I create a new e-mail and select the “To:” button no contacts are shown.

To resolve this I have tried the following:
1. Go to Contacts/Properties/Outlook Address Book. I am unable to click the “Show folder as an e-mail address book.” because it is greyed out!

2. Go to Tools/Account Settings/Address Books. A MAPI Outlook Address Book is already showing there. It won’t let me add another, or to delete the existing one.

I don’t want to create a new Outlook profile as I want to keep all my emails!

Please help, many thanks.

Gary
