Outlook 2K keeps changing to English US

When creating an e-mail within Office 2000, using Word as the mail editor, the language used for spell check is English US. The default language for all Office programs is set to English UK and all settings have been checked. When creating a new document in Word the language used for the normal template is set to English UK and so definitely isn’t that. All Custom ditionaries have been set as English (U.K.) as well.

Any help would be appreciated.
