I created a contact in Outlook 98 and I wanted to attach a journal entry to it. I double clicked the contact and clicked the Journal tab, and at the bottom of the screen clicked New Journal Entry. My computer told me that I was out of free memory and could not complete this task. My pc has 3/4 gig hard drive space left, 96 mb of ram, and has a first generation P200 processor.

See article #Q190495 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. I ran into this problem after installing Franklin Planner for Outlook software. The article will explain how to correct registry entries related to journalling. It doesn't say so, but you mustbe logged in as the user that encounters the problem, since the key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Hope this helps.
