Outlook add-in problem

When starting outlook I get the message “‘c:\documents and settings\administrator\application data\microsoft\addins\ is not a valid office add-in.” there are no addin’s listed when i check the com addin tab under tools.options.other.advanced options.com addins. any insight would be helpful.
