Outlook and emails

After an unsuccessful load of windows 2000 service pack 4, we did a system repair from the 2000 disk then did a manual load of sp4, now we are having problems with office products, especially outlook and excel opening and not having any text show up. What could have caused the problem, and how can I fix it?
