Outlook and HTML

Unable to view all of message if in HTML format. Can only scroll down for a few lines before the message ends. Outlook 2000 under Windows 98. Am able to few on another PC. Are there any options that need resetting. I have uninstalled and re-installed Office 2000 and same thing happens.
