Outlook attachments won't download

My Outlook 2000 attachments have been downloading very slowly and sometimes they won't download at all. These are not large (1 MB) and I have high speed cable modem. Any ideas?

Are you talking about downloading the attachment from your ISP? Or are they already in your mailbox and you are trying to Save As to a local directory on your PC?

Here is somethign to try. Download a large file like 30-40 megs from the internet someplace. Time how long it takes.

If it beats the attachment from the ISP then Id give them a call. 1 MB should be pretty fast.

Mabye they cant tweek a something on their POP server. Just guessing, but it seems more like an ISP issue than your machine.

I'm downloading from my ISP to my Outlook 2000 on my home computer.
