Outlook can't find POP3, d/ls everything

I have a user in a small remote office using Outlook 2k, setup for POP3 from our Exchange server (5.5). 2 or 3 times now, this has happened: She gets a "cannot find server" error message. After awhile, she hits "send/receive" again, and this time it downloads two weeks worth of emails (it's set to leave messages on server for 15 days - just changed that to 3, but isn't the issue). It's like her Outlook loses the server settings, then 'finds' them and starts over, pulling in the entire inbox, not just unread. Any idea what I should be looking for?

Try to enter an entry for the Exchange Server's IP address on the "hosts" file under "c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc" folder. I think this has to do with the ISP's settings.

There are 10 or so people in that office, all with the same setup, using Outlook with the same settings, same ISP. She's the only one with this problem. I figure it has to be something on her PC, not the network or ISP, or others would have similar problems. Could be wrong, though...
