Outlook connection issues

By bryancscott ·
Does anyone know why Outlook 2003 would stop downloading email? I use Win X
P Pro and the internet connection is still up. Outlook will even connect th
ru its web interface but no email can be downloaded. Every fix I have tried
has not worked. If I reboot, it works again for awhile but then stops down
loading at some point. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Same problem using W2K Pro

I have been experiencing the same problem so I updated Office 2003 and applied all the patches, thinking I had missed a bug fix. Not so. It began hesitating again yesterday. The donnection reports 50% completion and just sits there. It does not show a 'Stopped Responding' status in Task Manager but after exiting normally from the application, an Outlook process continues to be active. Stopping the process manually does not resolve the initial issue. There does not appear to be any Event ID error associated with the stoppage. Anyone have ideas?

Please check your .PST size. you can x-check by prepairing a new pst file and deliver all the new mails to this new pst file
