Outlook Crashing

Outlook crash after logging off and generating an error
message,"program error outlook.exe has generated errors and windows
will close down."
Were are using MS Office 2000 SRv Pack1.
We used MS repair tool and still client Outlook 2000 got the error"program error outlook.exe has generated errors and windows
will close down." the event viewer talked about IE 6. So I ran a repair tool on that and error still occured.

If this problem happens often, try the following.

(reboots are necessary to update the system registry. do not skip the steps.)
Uninstall Office 2000.
Reboot the computer.
Re-install IE6 (not fix, reinstall it.)
Reboot the computer.
Install Office 2000.
Reboot again.

If the problem happens only occasionally, what are you doing when it happens and what was Outlook doing just before it crashed? (attachments, auto-preview pane open, etc...)

The reason of this error in most cases is linked to corupt user profile. If you are using corporate/workgroup configuration, try creating a new mail profile. Check the appearence of the error, first without adding personal folder and then with personal folder. Most likely this will fix the error.
