i am Looking at Organising my Distribution Lists in to Alphabetical order, I have several Lists and I am looking to transfer certain contacts from one list to anouther and so on. if i can do this with out having to do them individually it would save an incredibly large amount of time as there are around about 4000 contacts in the database.
Thank you in advance.

They're already listed in alphabetical order in the overall list of contacts based on whatever column you're using to sort, IF you have set your view that way. You can change the view and sort by any column you want. You can also add/remove columns to the viewable information.
If you wish to list the individual members of each distribution list in alphabetical order, simply open each list and click the name column header to sort them. Clicking it again reverses the sort.
There may be a 3rd party tool somewhere that I'm unaware of, but there's no way from within Outlook to do a massive amount of moving contacts around from one distribution list to another. You're stuck doing it one name at a time.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
