Outlook email with Exchange Server 5.5

By galileoave ·
I was able to send/reply email to this below individual. Now I could not send to this person any more. However, I could email to the rest of the world. Why not this one?
The error states below.' on 6/4/02 10:02 AM Unable to deliver the message due to a communications failure
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=Boston Housing A;l=BHAMAIL1-020604140107Z-24461

550 rejected: unknown local-part in sender

I check the DNS and all the config.
Any suggestions?

Outlook email with Exchange Server 5.5

From the looks Peregrine Group rejected the message. Possibly because it attempted to perform a reverse look-up against your domain to verify that it is real. Something along the way prevented this from occuring (possibly your Firewall).

There may be other reason for the rejection such as your system is on a Open Relay Blackhole Database List and Peregrin Group subscribes to a service that allows them to reject incoming based on the ORBs information.

You may wish to contact them from a different venue (HOTMAIL) and ask if they are blocking or if they are doing reverse look-ups.
