Outlook - Exchange

By jpmontoya ·
This appeares after I create a new task and click save & close.

"A program is trying to access e-mail adresses you have stored in outlook. Do you want to allow this?"

"If this is unexpected,it may be a virus and you should choose "No"

I have tried to say yes and no and it always comes back next time!

Does anyone have a solution for this??

Thanks in advance.

Palm ?

by AndrewGross In reply to Outlook - Exchange

Are you trying to sync your Outlook with a Palm PIlot or other PDA? I have seen a Windows system tray utility, but I can't recall the exact name, something like "YesNo" that will automatically push the Yes button to allow syncing without manutal intervention.

I have also seen that palm suggestion, so try installing/re-installing any palm or PDA software you might have and then try Outlook. For the virus thing, its possible, if you already dont have a virus program, then try If you do have a virus scan, update it, and then scan. That's all I can think of.

it is a virus

by mous In reply to Outlook - Exchange

there is currently a virus that is going around and what it does is go to your outlook address book and send email to everyone in it. you want to respond NO. Then you want to update your virus protection program and if you do not have a virus protection program, please get one and make sure you keep it updated.
