I am having a problem with calendar items that are dated from September of last year that keep re-appearing in the deleted items folder and are redundant. These are two appointments that show up every three to five minutes and replicate themselves. This is happening on a computer running Windows 98SE with Outlook 2000 (all SP’s and updates installed) connectiong to a Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 (Exchange 2000) server for the mailbox store with no loccal folders. When you empty the deleted items folder, it appears to be empty, but as soon as you delete an e-mail message, it shows up along with the two appointments from 9/28/01 in the deleted items folder. If you do not delete any e-mails, then the deleted items folder will stayempty and the appointment items never show up in the deleted items folder. This is the first time I have experienced this and I can’t seem to get it resolved. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?
