Hello all,
I am having an annoying problem with Outlook Express 6 new mail notification. It wont go away until I open a message then delete the message.
Normally I see if I want the message or not, so I highlight it and press SHIFT + DEL to erase it completely. Usually this makes the new mail notification go away. At home this works just fine. (At work I have it set to save messages on server so that I have the final copy at home)
Here are my details:
WinXP SP2 and ALL updates (including Office XP), Outlook Exp 6 (with the SP) using it to check my pop3 account with my ISP from work. I am Net Admin at work. We have an ISA Server that is our firewall. Havent tried this on another machine here but it seems like a setting in OE but I cant make it work.
Have reinstalled XP SP2, re-installed IE and OE both. Any ideas besides switching to Linux?
