I am using Outlook Express to send and receive mails of my corporate account. Now I can receive mails properly but when I send any mail, The body part and the subject is removed automatically and my SMTP server refuse to send this mail (Undeliverable mail)
This is not SMTP server problem coz' i can send mails from different machine with the same account on Outlook express.

It sounds like the install of Outlook Express is corrupt on that machine, escpecially if you can use the same account on a different machines. Is this an exchange server mail account or ISP. A large number of ISPs allow you to send email from a non dial up connection but most require that you login to their system in order to use their outgoing mail gateway.

Another fix may be to try and re-enter the outgoing SMTP server in your account settings, but most likely you will need to reinstall the application.

Thanks for reply.
This is an exchange server Account. I tried thrice reinstalling it, but the problem remains same. When ever i reinstall it the account setting and the mails are not removed. Third time I remove the whole application from Add/Remove program (Control Panel) and then reinstall it, but again the problem remains.
Is it a virus attack? I had scan it with PCcillin antivirus. No virus found.

I suggest that even thought the computer you can receive email on works fine the SMTP server needs to be configured the same way.
1. Go to your network adminstrator and ask for the IP address for the SMTP server.
2. Go to Tools> Accounts > then the server tab. Make sure that the names of the server or the IP are identical.
I hope this works for you. I have had this problem before.

Sounds like your config for sending pop3 mail via your exchange server is tweaked. If it works elsewhere then that is the prob. I believe under OUTGOING server in your outlook config you have to specify your SMTP. Sometimes when the incoming and outgoing are both set to that ISP pop3 server you will experience the same difficulties. Hope that helps. Rob
