When starting Outlook Express 5.0 or 5.1 or 5.5 (beta) I receive the following message “The address book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please reinstall.” The program then comes up and I can receive mail and read it in the lower window, but I cannot view messages saved elsewhere (in eml format) nor can I reply to messages or send messages. I have reinstalled and still get the same message. I have tried Microsoft’s “support” without success. I would appreciate any help I can get.
