Outlook Express: password rejected

By lee_colmer ·
We have Outlook Express on 3 communal PCs with around 30 identities. For no apparent reason all 3 PCs suddenly have the same problem; all of the passwords are rejected when I try to switch identities meaning no-one can use their email.
If I setup one of the accounts again it works, but this would mean setting up 90 accounts with no guarentee the same thing won't happen again.

any ideas?!

This may be caused by a damaged Registry key in Windows XP. You can try editing some of the registry contents. Please visit the following link.

Thanks Capris, I now have 2 of the PC's working but on the 3rd PC I keep getting 'error while deleting registry key' despite checking all the permissions etc. Any more ideas?!
Also, I still don't know what caused the problem and why it occured on all 3 PC's simultaneously, and as I've just had to re-enter 60 login passwords and 60 mail server passwords I'd like to avoid a repetition!
Would individual Outlook profiles with passwords for the .pst files work better than Outlook Express, or is there another email client anyone could recommend for multiple users?
thanks again
