Outlook hangs

Every time a particular user scrolls through their personal contact list on Outlook 2000, it hangs at the same contact and then closes Outlook. I first reinstalled Office 2000, and later duplicated the same issue on other workstations. We are running Exchange 2000 on a W2K Server.

Is there any way to fix a user’s corrupt contact list on Exchange or work around this issue?
