We are currently running MS Exchange Server 5.5 in a window NT 4 environment.
The office that contains the server also contains about 40 client PCs running NT workstation. We have a second office about 50 miles away that connects to the Exchange server using a 64K Kilostream line.
The problem we are experiencing is that when users in the far away office, try to open their outlook applications, the machine takes ages to to load outlook and sometimes can’t open it at all. Users can usually log in after a few failed attempts.
We have checked the line connecting the two offices, and it’s fine.
Anyone got any ideas?
