Outlook HTML Emails are received with LARGE font.

Has anyone experienced an issue with sending an email from Outlook 2k3 in HTML format with Word 2k3 as the editor. An email sent with that configuration is received by the recipient with the text in the body of the email reformatted to a large font size (typically 100.0pt). If I send the email in any other format (text, rtf, html) it is received OK provided Word was not used as the editor. Also, we use a gateway product to scan for viruses and spam both inbound and outbound. If I bypass the gateway the emails sent as indicated above are received fine. If I turn off the legal disclaimer placed on all outbound emails by the gateway, the emails are received fine. The gateway vendor is saying it is a recipient issue . . .

I currently have a workaround but am looking for permanent solution.

TIA for any and all help!
