I’ve recently be given the responsiblity to take care of our Novell lan, but have had no prior experience or training on it. Outlook was already installed and most people on site are using it for their email, and I think the messages
and folders are being stored in each users personal folder on the Lan server.
About a week ago, we had to move our server from one floor to the
next and all new ehternet cabling and jacks were installed. When the
server was brought back up, I went around to various workstations and
logged into the Novell lan to make sure everyone had good connectivity.
Many of the PC’s noticed that I, (my Novell user name and password),
had never logged into that paticular machine before and asked if I
wanted the settings saved, I said no. Some PC’s also automatically
started up Outlook, and since I was not the normal, default user, it
tried to set up a new Mailbox/Account for me.
Now, whenever the normal users of those workstations log in, they
