Outlook mails disappearing

One of our users has a rule setup in Outlook 2000 where all his emails are forwarded to his hotmail account. When he checks his Outlook account, in the office, some of his mails don’t seem to be there even though they were all forwarded to his Hotmail account. Has anyone experienced this before?
