Outlook message rules

By bellaw ·
I have a pop account with an ISP. From this account I have several email alias's, this allows me to have several email address's for different poeple in the household. In the past I have used Outlook Express and configured the message rules so that only that persons email will be downloaded from the server. But the option "Do not Download it from the server" is not available in Outlook. Why can I configure OE but not Outlook?

Help Please

You can .

Go to tools

click Services

double click on the Internet mail account u want to aplly the rule to.

Go to Advanced TAB(the last tab)

u will find a delivery option on the bottom.

check the box so tht ur messages will be stored on the server

If that doent work out ,
Just change the POP 3 Address (for that account only)to a wrong one (eg.
and keep the existing SMTP address.

This way u will not receive any mails from that account but u can send mails without any problem.

plz send a feedback.

Bye mate
