Outlook problem

I’ve had problems with a couple of emails
that i’ve received in the last few days. In the first, none of the html coding was recognized and just appeared as regular text. In the second, a link within the message just appeared as text with the … stuff around it;
I’m using Outlook 97.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.
