I guess you have never been to the Microsoft.com Download site.

For Outlook 97 and 98 they have a file called timecard.exe which is a free download that has an electronic timesheet.

The timesheet is an outlook form that has an Excel spreadsheet embedded it in it. So I do not know if this one will work for you since Excel was not in the list above.

Try it out and see if it works.

Not exactly what I was expecting, I need the timesheet entries to be updated into a database automatically.

I am trying to compile all the timesheet entries from the users direct into a database.

I'd suggest you get a copy of 'Office Developer' from Microsoft, and/or a subscription to MSDN.

What you want to do, is very doable, and involves writing an app to sit 'between' your database and Outlook, and on certain database change events, update the appropriate Outlook info.

Not all that bad a task, and one that sounds kinda fun to do, but you'll be spinning your wheels without the code snippets and samples from the two tools I suggested.

Let me know if I can help ya further.

Guys, thanks for your advice, but i have taken a different approche. Managed to get it done through the companies intranet.Found a company that develops Timesheet programs for intranets, www.softerra.com. I have downloaded the free version of the programme and it is now runnning fine on the intranet.
Thanks again for your responses.
