I am trying to set up an auto response for certain Internet generated incoming e-mails from my web site. According to KB 196718, this only runs once by design for each given sender.
I am having trouble getting the rule wizard to respond to a newsender (the first incoming e-mail works fine). I am assuming that Outlook takes the definition of sender as the “From” line in the message header.
Is there any way to fake Outlook so that subsequent messages are responded to properly? I know Iget automated responses from senders all the time, so it must be possible to do so).
Second question: Although I have the response template set up to send in Rich Text format, the response is actually sent as Plain Text. I wanted to send a graphic of our logo in the reply, but Plain Text will only send the graphic as an attachment (with an error message in the space where the graphic was stituated in the template.
I have also tried the template in HTML with the same result.
