outlook task

I have a problem when i try to assigne the task to other users I got message about the permission.please advise

  Would help to know what the exact message is, and if it’s a new task that you’re assigning or a task that was assigned to you that you’re trying to reassign. I’m not sure, but I don’t think tasks can be assigned by anyone but the creator.

  If you’re talking about dragging a task into another users task folder in an Exchange environment then you’ll need to ask the task folder owner to grant you ‘Author’ priveleges to the folder.
